Artificial Intelligence is rapidly changing the creative landscape, and OSIF wants our members to help shape how we respond.
As AI becomes more common in film production, OSIF is exploring fair and transparent guidelines to ensure our festivals continue to celebrate the human creativity, skill, and artistry at the heart of filmmaking; while acknowledging this technology that is becoming more integrated within the industry.
We’re inviting all OSIF Members to join a Virtual Town Hall on Sunday, November 16 at 1PM (via Zoom) to discuss the role of Generative AI in OSIF-run festivals.
At the Town Hall, we’ll present five possible policy options, and open the floor for OSIF Members to share feedback and perspectives.
Following the discussion, a member-wide poll will be sent out, to help guide which approach OSIF will move forward with.
