Bio
Richard is a retired educator having served as a teacher and school administrator for 30+ years. During his time in education, Richard developed an interest in video production forming numerous video production clubs with his students.
Upon retirement, Richard began his video production company, KnightKnight Productions, and began producing videos for small companies, non-profit organizations, schools and theatrical groups.
Among his clients are the following: Kelowna Community Music School, Okanagan Symphony Orchestra, Opera Kelowna, Bumbershoot Children’s Theatre, Theatre Kelowna, Kelowna-Kasugai Sister City Association, The Society of Hope, Shakespeare Kelowna, Chamber Music Kelowna, Ballet Kelowna, Vernon Proms Classical Music Festival.
A few years ago Richard created a YouTube Comedy Channel called “Tom, Dyck and Harry & Steve” productions. So far, they have 10 episodes.
Most recently, KnightKnight Productions teamed up with Shakespeare Kelowna to produce a movie for the big screen. The COVID-19 pandemic caused 2 summer shows to be cancelled, so a movie seemed to be positive step. It will be shown at the Mary Irwin Theatre on January 24 and 25, 2022.
